PayFast is the ultimate online payment solution in South Africa. Now, store owners can accept payments from local & international buyers via Visa, Mastercard, Instant EFT & more using PayFast.
At the moment, we are considering it in Beta phase as the feature is complete but there could be some unknown bugs and issues. We are kindly asking our users to let us know of any issues AND/OR confirmation of successful payment transactions at [email protected]. Thank you in advance!
Here are the steps to integrate PayFast into your store builder:
STEP 1: Please create your PayFast account and have your PayFast account open in another browser. Once your PayFast account is created, you can then integrate it into your store builder.
STEP 2: From your store builder, locate the INTEGRATIONS tile or left nav menu option
STEP 3: Once in INTEGRATIONS, select MERCHANTS
STEP 4: In MERCHANTS, select the teal + icon to add an additional payment merchant
STEP 5: In MERCHANTS, select the new option PAYFAST from the dropdown
STEP 6: Provide an internal name, merchant ID and merchant key( that can be found on the homepage of your PayFast dashboard)
STEP 7: Find your merchant ID and Key as seen on the homepage of your PayFast dashboard below, copy them and then come back to the store builder and paste them into the appropriate fields
FROM YOUR PAYFAST ACCOUNT:
STEP 8: Once pasted successfully into the appropriate fields from the store builder, elect SAVE on the pop up and now you should have integrated with PayFast as a payment merchant!
