Linking two products within your product details page allows the user to showcase a similar product that a store visitor might also be interested in. This could be for similar products, for example a similar shirt for women or men. You could link the two products together so the store visitor is aware of the similar item. 


Related products is different by nature as you can relate more than two products together. This would make more sense for something like a similar collection of black leather purses, wallets, and backpacks, for example.


PLEASE NOTE:
The status of the product for which you wish to relate or link must be PUBLIC in order for it to appear in the Related Products and Link Products section dropdowns 

*if your product is not displayed in the dropdown of either of those sections, please check that the product’s status is Public (and not Draft)
